We now carry Talc USA by Brandt Co.

• 80/20 talc in 20 lb bucket: $50

• EnzUp SeedFlow Zn in 10 lb bucket: $1250

• 80/20 talc w/ Zn Mn Fe & mannanase/lipase enzymes

• Rate: 2 oz / seed unit = 1 oz / acre = $7 / acre

• One bucket covers (80) units of seed, or appx. 180 acres.

• 1 oz / acre of EnzUp SeedFlow = .04 lbs Zn (see study picture below)

I found a U of M study from 2005, later referenced in Pioneer publications, and other academic papers:

• When Zn is "coated" on the seed

• IN ADDITION TO Zn in the starter fertilizer mix

• 16 bushel yield bump........

• Zn in the starter alone = 5+ bushel yield bump

• Zn coated on seed alone = 2-4 bushel bump

Brandt Co. finished buying Talc USA in 2023, for the purpose of expanding their new enzyeme / microbial / micro nutrient technologies built for use in talc. Possibly replacing the need for liquid starter fertilizers in the near future.
